Player development doesn’t take time off for summer break!
The SUMMER DAWG STRONG PROGRAM will begin in June and continue until the end of July. This 2 day per week program will focus on player strength, speed, agility and explosiveness. Each player will be pushed to achieve maximum gains and become a more explosive athlete.
SUMMER DAWG STRONG will again be under the supervision of Chip Hunter. Chip has had a huge impact on the Dawgs program and his expertise in the strength/speed field has led to tremendous improvement in the physicality of our players.

Arm strength/care segment
The arm care portion of our program will focus on arm strength and arm health. We will work to increase arm speed by using a combination of plyo balls, weighted balls, long toss and proper throwing mechanics.

This high intensity program is competition driven. Players will be pushed to compete against themselves and to compete against each other to earn the “Dawg Strong Belt” at the conclusion of each week.
