2011 Records and Results
2011 was another successful season for the Pittsburgh Diamond Dawgs. The Dawgs played in tournaments in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee. Competing in Nations Baseball, Triple Crown, USSSA and independent tournaments, the Dawgs beat teams from 10 different states and Canada. (PA, NY, NJ, MD, TN, VA, NC, MI, OH, IND). Advancing to 36 Championship games the Dawgs won tournaments in 4 different states.

Youngest player to get a hit in a tournament game: Petey Craska ( 8 Gold) Age 6 Most Strikeouts in a game by a pitcher: Anthony Winkler (13Gold) 18 Most wins in a season by a pitcher: Josh Lapiana (15 Gold) 12-0

3 former Diamond Dawgs were selected in the 2011 Major League Baseball 1st year player draft 2 Dawgs were named high school baseball All State for 2011 19 current and former Diamond Dawgs played in the WPIAL high school Championship games at Consol Energy Field in 2011 4 Dawgs recieved scholarships to play College Baseball for the 2011-2012 season
